Jungle Chili Flavor: These profile-cut plantain chips were crisp, with a level of crunch that varied quite a bit from one chip to the next. They all had a good fresh taste, but some had a good crunch upon biting in, while others had virtually none. There wasn't a whole lot of salt that we could taste on these, but that didn't stop the tasty, fresh plantain flavor from coming through strongly. A good plantain chip.
Slightly Salted Flavor: Crispy, with a level of crunch that varied quite a bit from one chip to the next. They all had a good fresh taste, but some had a good crunch upon biting in, while others had virtually none. There wasn't a whole lot of salt that we could taste on these, but that didn't stop the tasty, fresh plantain flavor from coming through strongly. A good plantain chip.
Naturally Sweet Flavor: The smallish plantain chips were cut as a cross-section of the plantain, with generally a golden yellow color to them along with some scattered darker areas. (The ones pictured on the bag had just the golden yellow.) The taste was quite atypical for a non-seasoned plantain chip, as they were quite sweet and quite tasty, with no saltiness at all. They were popular around the chip bowl.
